SAQUISQA AWQUIQUNA– 3 DAYS / 2 NIGHTS

DAY 1: CUSCO CITY TOUR

In this excursion, we begin by picking you up from your accommodation and heading to the Temple of Coricancha, known for its fusion of Inca and Spanish architecture.

Then, by minibus, we visit the archaeological sites of Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay, known as the Inca Bath for its water rituals.

We also visit the impressive Cathedral of Cusco in the Main Square. After approximately four and a half hours, the tour ends and we return to your accommodation to get ready for a Dinner Show in the heart of the city.

DAY 2: SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS

We pick you up at 07:30 a.m. and begin a journey into the essence of the past. From Cusco, we head to Chinchero, where ancient agricultural and weaving traditions with Inca iconography are still alive.

At midday, we enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba. With renewed energy, we continue to Ollantaytambo, a fortress city surrounded by valleys and mountains, rich in Inca engineering and hydraulic systems.

We then visit Pisac, home to an impressive archaeological complex and artisan market.

The day ends around 6:00 p.m. with our return to Cusco, leaving lasting memories of the Sacred Valley.

DAY 3: VISIT TO THE HISTORIC SANCTUARY OF MACHU PICCHU

We embark on a full-day journey to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu from Cusco. We begin with pickup from your accommodation and travel by road to the train station in Ollantaytambo.

From there, we take a scenic train ride through beautiful valleys to Aguas Calientes, followed by a bus ride up to Machu Picchu.

With a local expert guide, we explore key sites such as the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana, the Temple of the Three Windows, and the mausoleum, among others. After the guided tour, you will have free time to explore and take photos.

Finally, we return by bus to Aguas Calientes, take the train back to Ollantaytambo, and continue by transport to Cusco, completing the experience.
