INKA TRAIL – 2 DAYS / 1 NIGHT

DAY 1: CUSCO – AGUAS CALIENTES

Our adventure begins early in the morning, meeting our guide at your accommodation at 04:00 a.m. After a short transfer to Ollantaytambo, we board a peaceful 1.5-hour train ride to Chachabamba, enjoying the scenic views of the Urubamba River along the way.

From the Chachabamba checkpoint, we begin the hike. We visit the archaeological sites of Chachabamba and Wiñay Wayna while observing the rich diversity of flora and fauna. We enter Machu Picchu through Inti Punku (the Sun Gate), where we are rewarded with one of the most spectacular views of the Inca citadel.

We arrive at Machu Picchu in the afternoon and enjoy the rare chance to explore it with fewer crowds. After a short bus ride to Aguas Calientes, we end the day with dinner and rest overnight.

DAY 2: MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO

After resting, we start early again. We take the bus at 05:30 a.m. just as the sun rises, heading up to Machu Picchu. During the scenic ride, we enjoy breathtaking views of the sanctuary.

Our guide leads a detailed 2–3 hour tour of Machu Picchu. Afterward, you will have free time to explore on your own, with optional hikes to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain.

Finally, we take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, then board the train back to Ollantaytambo and continue by transport to our accommodation in Cusco.
