MACCHU-PICCHU FULL DAY
We will embark on a full-day trip to the Machu Picchu National Historical Sanctuary from Cusco and experience the grandeur of this UNESCO World Heritage site. You will learn about the fascinating history surrounding this Inca archaeological complex and the Inca civilization.
During this day trip, we will explore Peru’s most significant archaeological and cultural treasure. We will begin with pickup from your accommodation and travel by land to the train station in Ollantaytambo. If we depart early, we will have ample time to explore the archaeological complex.
We will enjoy the picturesque beauty of the valleys during the train journey to Aguas Calientes. From there, a bus will take us to the Machu Picchu sanctuary.
We will explore the Inca archaeological complex with the expert guidance of a local guide. Highlights include the Temple of the Sun, Intihuatana, Temple of the Three Windows, the mausoleum, and more. At the end of the guided tour, there will be free time to take photos and explore on your own the spots that captivate you the most. You will also have the opportunity to visit the main plaza of the town, where various souvenirs can be found.
We will return to Ollantaytambo by train and from there take our transport back to Cusco.
